Java Web Programmer

This is your opportunity to become immersed in design and development of web applications using Java, JSF and EJB 3.0. Depending on the project you may be responsible for performing system and database design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications and middle-ware or backend systems.
• Develop software using Java, JSF and EJB 3.0.
• Communicate effectively with team members to plan projects and monitor progress. Complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Overcome whatever obstacles may arise, whether in underlying systems or elsewhere.
• Propose creative solutions and contribute beyond defined responsibilities.

Requirements

• One to five years of web-related Java programming using JSF and EJB 3.0.
• Related skills such as database design using MySQL, software design using UML, scripting for Maven and configuration of Subversion.
• Familiarity with client side web technologies such as XML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX and Javascript.
• Problem solving skills to isolate and resolve whatever problems may arise.
• Experience using Linux, Apache and JBoss.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for efficient completion of multiple projects.
• Enthusiasm and creativity to provide original ideas and plans; and the skills to implement them.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills to work directly with clients and team members.
• Flexibility to work with technologies such as PHP and .NET.
• Ability and motivation to achieve exceptional results with minimal supervision.

Website Professional - IA and SEM

This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and become immersed in projects where you contribute your strengths in planning web sites and managing search engine marketing. Your focus will be to maximize the value of websites and online marketing campaigns for our clients. The job will include meeting with clients to formulate website plans; creating sitemaps and wireframes; and performing SEO and PPC research and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather requirements, discuss site plans, etc.
• Define website organization.
• Perform search engine optimization (SEO) research, implementation and maintenance.
• Create and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.
• Analyze and optimize website traffic.
• Develop campaign reports and communicate results to clients.

Requirements

• One to five years of relevant web work experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for efficient completion of multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Ability and interest to become familiar with each client's business.
• Enthusiasm and creativity to provide original ideas and plans to meet each client's needs and achieve their objectives.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation experience.
• Interpersonal skills to work directly with clients and team members.
• Technical and analytical skills, including knowledge of XHTML, traffic analysis tools, etc.
• Ability and motivation to achieve exceptional results with minimal supervision.
