Background

GameVault is a web hosting provider catering to computer gamers by offering web hosting packages featuring online game servers. The launch of their new website required a professional promotional piece to draw attention to the new destination for top-tier game servers.

Objectives

We needed to find a way to capture the attention of a difficult market. The video game market moves quickly and it takes a lot to grab attention and make an impression. This would be one of the most important things for this project.

We also needed to keep a consistent style throughout the presentation. Since the theme was video games, we needed to try to incorporate a game-like feel into the entire presentation.

Solution

To capture the attention of the viewer, we started the presentation with a custom designed animation. Created in Maxon Cinema 4D, the animation featured a 3D rendered vault containing a computer terminal that the user would gain access to. We also set the mood using custom generated sound effects.

The presentation itself used a simulated computer terminal to present information. This gave the presentation a high-tech feel and let the user take a more immersed role in the presentation.
