Front-End Web Developer (Full-Time)

Plaudit Design is seeking a Front-End Web Developer who will focus on coding website functionality in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Plaudit Design is a well established and growing web firm of professionals passionate about the creation of engaging, user-centered websites. These top-notch individuals focus on the various aspects of website creation, and make up a close knit team that collaborates across disciplines. Your focus will be programming of website specific functionality, and provide valuable consulting on technical aspects of client projects.

Responsibilities

• Convert designs into HTML/CSS templates
• Develop animations and interactive HTML components using Javascript and JQuery
• Ensure websites display and function correctly across multiple browsers and operating systems
• Coordinate with cross-discipline project team and consult with designers on technical factors

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of HTML
• Expert knowledge of CSS 2 and 3
• Expert knowledge of Javascript and JQuery
• In-depth understanding of browser differences and bugs
• Ability to develop websites based on Photoshop and Illustrator files
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to work directly with clients and team members

Bonus Points

• Experience using a version control system such as SVN or Git
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language
